Well here's some good news, even if it's not relevant for another 6 months or so.
According to this NFL.com release, the Dallas Cowboys have the easiest schedule in the NFC next season. As you'll see, they unfortunately have to share this distinction with our hated rival the New York Giants. Overall, it's tied for the 8th easiest schedule in the league with an opponents average winning percentage of only .480. Plenty of teams in the AFC have an easier road, including 2012 playoff teams the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Houston Texans.
This is all well and nice, but we've seen time and time again that the Dallas Cowboys play to the exact level of their competition. It will be important for them next season to win the games they're supposed to win, and not let bad teams hang around. Of course, this is assuming that the 8-8 Cowboys aren't a bad team, something we all hope is true.
The 2013 opponents look like this:
| Home | Away |
| Green Bay Packers | Chicago Bears |
| Minnesota Vikings | Detroit Lions |
| Denver Broncos | Kansas City Chiefs |
| Oakland Raiders | San Diego Chargers |
| St. Louis Rams | New Orleans Saints |
| Washington Redskins (Div.) | Washington Redskins (Div.) |
| New York Giants (Div.) | New York Giants (Div.) |
| Philadelphia Eagles (Div.) | Philadelphia Eagles (Div.) |
